Done. Our forests are an asset that are really beyond price.
The cost per annum to keep them in public ownership is relatively small and is a price worth paying.
Please support this appeal and write to your MP.
Cheers Jeff, I dread to think what might happen should these woodlands fall into private ownership, many destroyed for profit? rampant persecution? lack of access? habitat degradation? The list of possible horrors goes on.
