Another patch tick for me on Soil Hill this morning. Spotted this Little Egret drifting over Bradshaw and after circling a few times dropped onto the farm pond behind Bradshaw Park, where it stayed, out of sight, for no more than a minute before taking off again. It then circled up and although initially did not seem to know where it wanted to go, eventually gained height and headed southwards towards Swales Moor, where I lost it.
Otherwise usual setup on the Hill; Willow Warbler, Whitethroat, Grasshopper Warbler yesterday, pair Blackcap today, pair Bullfinch and a flock of 24 Mistle Thrush.
