Ringstone Edge

Made a visit to Ringstone this afternoon to check if DF's excellent Med Gull was still around. Impressive numbers of gulls on the shoreline and in the fields, but was eventually able to pick the bird up in the fields. It was very mobile and I frequently lost it. Managed some distant record shots.

Also visited Whiteholme but the recent rains have consumed the shoreline there and there were no waders besides the usual Common Sandpipers.

Good to get some record shots. Is that new for you in Calderdale ?

It is indeed. I'm hopeful for a flyby over Soil Hill as gull numbers start to build up. Fingers crossed.
