SWALLOWS
2 flew over the house this morning at 1130 heading towards Brighouse/EGP,
We are just at the very interesting overlap. Whoopers and waxwings last weekend! The waxwings (about 30) were at Salterhebble canal basin, reported by some of the Copley Valley Conservationists, who had hired a boat to collect signatures from. Objections to the main scheme to be in by 1st April, everyone.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

Those are really early Mike. I gather there was one at Fairburn yesterday as well.
2010 record was 27 March so 4 days early.

Ha ha - you're right there Brian. Wheatear first then we'll see what's next!
