Cold Edge and Fly Flats

Fly Flats - very quiet (no sign of any Mipits, Skylarks or waders)
43 Canada Geese
2 Goldeneye
2 Red Grouse

Cold Edge
Very quiet here too - not a sign of any waders, mipits or raptors other than 1 Little Owl
1 Skylark around the chicken coup at Withens Gap
7 Golden Plover were resting in a field just up Cold Edge Road in a field above Nolstar kennels - unusually they just sat there in the field 50 m from us. We expected them to be off (as they usually do) but perhaps they were recovering from a long flight (?)

At least 6 Brambling were still with the finch flock at the back of the 'Delvers' the males are starting to look good
