I went up to Langfield and West Scout today looking for Wheatear but turned up nothing but a single Mipit. The area was eerily quiet. Worrying.
38 Curlew - a fab number Dave. Think I'll wander up there over the weekend.
The area just beyond Grain Water Bridge is often good for early Wheatear and in past years I used to clock early Ring Ouzel there too (though not in recent years).
Dont worry about the Wheatear Dave ,Ill be going up there in the morning to get one for you, weather permitting.
