Kestral

Cycling past an old mill on the canal towpath just above Elland we spotted that Kestrals appear to be nesting their again this year. The mill is just past Lockwoods Carpets above Elland Basin. Kestrals have nested there in the past I belive ?

Hi Paul
I remember many years ago Barn Owls nested there. (if its the mill I think you mean). We spent lots of evenings watching them hunt over the nearby rough grass.
