Superb spring day in almost non existent E breeze at times. The place was rocking with birdsong, migrants arrived: 3 Chiffchaff, 5 Willow Warbler, Swallow (my earliest for some years)

Pr Goldeneye giving great views, 10 Canadas, the feral Barnacle happily chompin on bread. Goldcrest, pr Long tailed Tit, GSW, pr Mistle Thrush and so on.

Wheatear on roadside wall at Soil Hill on way up.
