Ringstone and Blackstone Edge today

Ringstone:- 2 LRP, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Common Sand, 9 Lapwing, 14 Goldfinch on feeding station along with 4 Greenfinch, 2 Linnet and 4 Dunnock.

Blackstone Edge:- On the Crag rd rocks 3 Wheatear - 2 male and a female also a dead Curlew (photo's of both to follow) Curlew had clearly been there for sometime so difficult to guess a cause of death.

On the Res - 2 Canada Geese and 5 Mallard.

3 Dunlin at Ringstone tonight. Didn't see the Common Sand or Oystercatcher. GP still in North Field in among long grass

i saw the curlew the day after the rock pipit looked liked it had flown into the cables above

Its happened before, I remember many years ago Roy Crossley photographed a dead Curlew under the same wires.

i picked it of the road side when scan rockit was there it had a broken neck , {road kill} checked for rings and placed it on the rocks
