Cold Edge etc...

A late afternoon check of a few local sites didn't produce a lot in the continuing gale and wet conditions.
Cold Edge - the Pink-footed Goose was still there keeping close to 2 Greylags in with the Canada flock.
A few Lapwings and Curlew in the wet fields and 2 Oystercatchers.
Nearby 2 pairs of Little Owls in the usual spots hunkering down in the conditions

Went up there about 2 ish , 2 Redshanks to add but the pink foot looked to have orange legs to me, so I had a look from the top road where I flushed a Woodcock which flew back towards Cold edge,, the pink foot had moved on and I could only find 5 Greylags..

Eck, have we all been up there today.
No Pinkie for me and even the Little Owls seemed to have taken shelter.

Great to get Woodcock Andy - they are certainly not always in the woodlands.
