Whooper bonanza!

See Brian's blog link ( West Yorkshire Birding) for an amazing spectacle at Mixenden Res'r this morning with 239 Whoopers there. This follows calls from Andy at Northowram alerting us to the big movement of them through Calderdale. Several other calls with 7 on the Res'r at Ringstone and flyovers reported from Ogden, Ringstone, Calder Valley etc....
Difficult at this stage to say how many in total without analising the data from everyone. I guess maybe up to 500 birds in total through Calderdale today... Unprecedented!
