Soil Hill

A very pleasant morning on the Hill today with a nice variety of species

• Very pleasant VizMig between 08:00 – 09:45 with a few nice totals. All south unless stated otherwise;

  -237 Meadow Pipit

  -24 Swallow

  -9 House Martin (North)

  -1 Lesser Redpoll

  -7 Snipe (West) 

  -Additionally 10 Pied Wagtail, 2 Grey Wagtail, 3 Chaffinch, 1 Linnet, 10 Goldfinch & 9 Skylark

• Five Teal were still on the NK Pond, although often staying on the near side out of sight. 

• Four Stonechat were on the walls at the bottom of the North Slope early morning, with two males showing very well at times.
