Wainstalls and Castle Carr Road area

This afternoon for an hour and a half. Nice to see the sunshine - it's been dry all day too !!!
3 Little Owls in different locations
Pair of Stonechat
3 Curlew flyovers towards Cold Edge Dams
12+ Lapwings
12+ Fieldfare
3 Mistle Thrush
2 Red Grouse
1 Buzzard
2 Kestrels
1 Meadow Pipit
Plenty corvids.

I even scanned a couple of sites where Wheatears can be seen on migration. I know it's at least 2 weeks early yet - but you never know nowadays. Looking forward to the first arrivals already !!!!
