Withens Clough Reservoir

We had a late morning / early afternoon visit. A nice day to be out, with a fresh breeze, sunshine and just an odd shower.
5 Grey wagtails in the overflow along with several Meadow Pipits and 2 alba wagtails
Nearby a flock of c60 Goldfinch on thistle heads
1 Sparrowhawk
1 Kestrel
1 Herring Gull >W
1 Black-headed Gull >W
Lots of Swallows around the site and a fast moving group of 50+ House Martins went through low >W, over the moor.
6 Stonechats and 4 Wheatears with Meadow Pipits were hanging around together on the track at the back of the conifer plantation
