A380 ! .....

I just went outside, as we usually do around 7pm to see if the big plane was coming over heading into Manchester. Scanning the sky with the bin's - a SWIFT high over >SE - now that's definitely better than a plane. !!

Not a lot over today just a few Swallows, Great Spotted Woodpecker and a Sparrowhawk but I'll be out again in another 45 mins as the plane is late.

I hear from BS that the Black Redstart was still showing at Withens Head this afternoon.
Also Dave B has a big raptor over Claremont this afternoon but it went by, towards Halifax, unidentified unfortunately.
