2 hours spent this afternoon at a local watch point produced 2 Common Buzzards in different locations, 6 sightings of Sparrowhawk (at least 2 birds), 14 sightings of Kestrel (at least 5 birds, 2 of which were juvs) and a Merlin which stooped at high speed onto a group od small passerines. Surprisingly this is the first Merlin Ive seen from this watch point.
