No sign of the Redstarts at Roils Head this morning. The wet and windy weather may have kept them down but my gut feeling is that they left last night. A couple of Willow Warblers, a Swallow, about 10 B.H.Gulls and the usual Jackdaws were no consolation but a few Red Admirals and loads of Small Coppers and Speckled Woods feeding on heather were a welcome film opportunity.
Loads of Rowans in full fruit at the mo....could do with a thrush invasion.
