Woodcock roding up and down behind my house from 8:30 tonight.
I was surprised to see them starting so early - I always associate it with a hot summer night!
Also, 5 chiffchaffs, 3 goldcrests and 7 willow warblers yesterday in the scrub up the Pennine Way on Underbank.

"You took the words right out of my mouth"- Meatloaf. Cheesy but in its own way, brilliant. Nice slip on my part though i just noticed i wrote "frog" when it should have been fog!!
