Osprey

One circling the River Calder just east of Brighouse at 10:00hrs this morning before drifting NE over Clifton.

Earlier 1 House Martin at EGP, also 25 Swallow and 15 Sand Martin around there.

Over the Easter weekend I found 3 LRP in Calderdale, no sign of any today though I'm not complaining!

Dave, give Nick Dawtrey a call and let him know where these LRPs are. (Don't post the location on the blog). The trouble with LRPs is that they may try to breed on waste ground that is prone to human disturbance, such as quarries and the like. If the CBCG is given a heads-up via Nick D., we can try to do something to minimise such disturbance, perhaps. Cheers.
