Ducklings

Mallard with 14 ducklings on River Calder this morning, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Dipper.2 pair Grey Wagtails, 1 pair Pied Wagtails also Chiffchaff nestbuilding at EGP.
Jay House has 44 Fieldfares and 5 Redwings.

Good that you saw the kingfisher Mike after the hard winter. I haven't been seeing them in the usual spots with the regularity I expect.

I see the dead tree in Catherine Slack, used by by the lesser spotted woodpeckers last year, has been felled, along with the one that was beside it.
