The RSPB are currently petitioning Dr Lawrence Gonzi, Prime Minister of Malta to resist pressure coming from the hunting lobby to defy EU legislation and open a Spring hunting season in Malta. Spring hunting is illegal throughout the EU and Malta should abide by EU legislation. Please follow to the link below and sign the petition.

I have also got paperwork today from the RSPB to sign up - so I guess all members of RSPB will get one through the post. I would encourage everyone to sign up one way or another. It's really important to support the Maltese birders, Birdlife International as well as the RSPB.
