Cool Gadgets
Maplin are currently selling off Binatone Latitude 100 2-way radios at £12/pair. I bought a pair during the week and tried them out with Nick D this weekend at Ogden and at Elland. Very useful in allowing folk to keep in touch when doing systematic searches of an area. Range is up to 3kms.

Hi Steve believe it or not I was going to buy some from Lidl . Where abouts is Maplin ?
The Maplin I went to is opposite Forster Square Retail Park in Bradford. (Next to Forster Sqare Railway Station). It shares a plot with Halfords on Hammestrasse. There's also a Maplin on Oxford Road in Manchester opposite the BBC, and of course, they have a website. I think there is bound to be one in Leeds butI don't know of one in Halifax I'm afraid. I'm certain that I saw simmilar handsets in TK Maxx a while ago.
