Wheatley Valley

11 Snipe flew overhead this morning on the old landfill site and dropped into the Hebble culvert area 200 m downstream from the bottom of Brackenbed. They were a real surprise!
10 Great Black-backed Gulls also went over >E
1 Great Spotted Woodpecker

1 m Sparrowhawk

I also went on to check the sorbus trees on Raglan Street and Stansfield Close near the lower end of Pellon Lane - all the berries have been scoffed by thrushes so no chance of any Waxwings there now.
