House Martins - a pair in and out of a nest on the window frame of the old mill; another nest still intact, but 2 others damaged - either deliberately or 'accidentally' as the windows have been opened.
Swallows - at least a dozen around the village.
Pheasant calling nearby
Crows - flock of about 40
Meadow Pipits - not too many, but a few juvs on the moor
Goldfinch - 2
Kestrels - 2 hunting over the moor
Curlew - one in field by the road which then flew close overhead, seemingly not keen to see anyone near it's territory.
