Foggy Whiteholme

Clear when I set off but quickly closed in, just 8 Canada Geese in the gloom, reminded me why Brian Leecy once described birding up there like being on the moon, with fewer birds!

Yep, went up there a few years ago and found it just below the cloud line - yeuch!
Don't think I even found the Canada Geese that day, just a Swallow heading south in April that had obviously had enough...
