13th August the work of accipter nisus
Usual afternoon walk over Roils Head produced the remains of a corvid, probably a young Magpie, most probable suspect Sparrowhawk. 15 + Willow Warblers present, 4 Common Gulls and about 20 BHGs. 8 Pied Wags at Norton Tower, 10 Stock Doves and lots of Swallows at High Road Well Moor, 2 Kestrels at Heath Hill Road and a Grey Heron over Pellon Lane.
