36 Waxwings there at 1.45pm

4 Goldfinch on my apple tree at lunchtime

Well done Mick - when we got there they were all in the trees just below the Allan Fold Pub across the road from the feeding trees. They were probably ready for going to roost.

Glad I finally caught up with them at Wickes earlier in the week because I must have checked the King X site a dozen times with no luck! I'll try again tomorrow.

45 here at 2pm today

Around 40 still there at 14:45 (Fri)sat in trees at bottom of Allan Fold car park.

Thanks for the tip off Mick. I had a brilliant morning watching Sean ring some of the waxwings. Saw first hand how they store berries in a membrane at the back of their neck. It was a real privilege to see such fabulous birds.-It's even made me use a computer!
