Calderdale Birds: Had this bird on the feeders today managed to grab my camera and get this awful pic but has anyone any ideas? It was house sparrow sized with scalloped black and white beast I thought maybe black rosy finch but bill seems to heavy and not sure if they are kept as cage birds in UK.

Had this bird on the feeders today managed to grab my camera and get this awful pic but has anyone any ideas? It was house sparrow sized with scalloped black and white beast I thought maybe black rosy finch but bill seems to heavy and not sure if they are kept as cage birds in UK.
