Waxwings at Ainley Top
12 Waxwings reported by local residents of West Lodge Crescent at midday. After a brief stay, they flew off in the direction of Rastrick/Grimescar.
Well done for picking that info up Mike. Far too few records for us in Calderdale this winter. I hear Waxwings are heading down towards France now as not many berries left in England other than holly which are a favourite with Redwings.
