Ogden Garden
An unusual visitor to the garden last evening was a tawny owl. It was sitting on one of the feeders about 8 feet from the kitchen window. For some reason we had gone in without switching the light on.
Always special to see a Tawny Owl,they are often heard in that area I guess. When they are seen they can give stunning views. I remember the photo Sean Grey took of a Tawny at Ogden on the edge of the reservoir in the daytime, a very unusual place! I think the photo is still on Birdguides (and if I recall correctly!) it was photo of the week (or month!!?
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,
