Bullfinch
This is a picture of the Bullfinch atWaring Green. When I looked at it closer there appears to be either a "growth" or an "accumulation" around the base of the legs. Anyone any ideas?
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

Chaffinchs suffer the most from it but it seems to favour the finch family
Many thanks Sean .I didnt spot it while we were watching the bird , only when I put the pics on the computer . It certainly didnt spoil its appetite .
