The Med Gull showed very well this PM at Mount Tabor. Anyone with a half decent camera should get some stunning shots of this bird. Also 6 Herring Gulls west.

Great shot Nick and good to see that it is the same bird with those two white outer tail feathers still showing well.
They'll have to do well to beat some of your recent photos Nick!
Ive only got a Panasonic Lumix FZ 18, Ian Scott, Nick Dawson and Darrell have the real top notch gear so they should do better than me.
I will up date it on the blog every day if thats ok, seeing its a long stayer I see no reason to text it out on the grapevine until the new year unless people think otherwise ?
Great shot Nick,I will try for a 4th time to see this bird.Nothing wrong with your camera at all.
I've got a Lumix too but can't get the quality of stuff you do so its not just the camera!
You should see the bad ones.
I could post some shots of empty branches, out of focus.
Perhaps we should have a Xmas competition, the years worst bird photo?
I have hundreds of cr@p bird photos, some of which are so bad you can't even tell there's a bird in there. I'll have to come and visit again Nick because the Med Gull didn't come near enough for me to get any photos. I have a new milk bottle bottom lens for my Box Brownie that I'm keen to try out.
