12 birds on a couple of chimneys on Green Park road, Skircoat Green at 12.15pm today. I walked straight past them until I heard those distinctive calls.
It's been 19 years since I last saw any on the estate so it might be a good sign of things to come.

Lots on the coast currently.
Well done Charlie. I checked lots of the usual town centre and Pellon Lane/Lister Lane haunts this morning without success.
No sight or sound of them at 3pm. Surely only a matter of time before more make an appearance elsewhere.
Sod's law I was in another part of Halifax when waxwings were over the road from me!
