Ringstone 20/10/10
Fantastic sight early this afternoon at Ringstone, 241 Lapwing and 208 Golden Plover observed feeding in a field to the west of the reservoir, then all up the air at the same time wheeling and calling

Fantastic return for Ringstone today then Dave.
A great sight David, well shown in your photos, especially the Golden Plovers.
Thanks guys, it almost felt quite balmy there to be honest early this afternoon and although no other species were around other than Black-headed Gull, Common Gull and Starling it was one one those local birding experiences that just makes you feel good inside!
