This is the blog for bird sightings and related news in the Calderdale area. It is generally updated daily. Any non-member wishing to report and post sightings should send them to info(at)calderdalebirds(dot)co(dot)uk
Fantastic, a great record Dave, I'll have to try and get up there tomorrow to have a look.
Meanwhile I think you have created a new game for us with these pics - Spot The Bird. I think I've got it so do I send you a coupon with my "X" marked on it?
If you go on to the Queensbury Birder link and look at the photos Nigel took, if you click on the lower one to enlarge it you can clearly see the two pale wing marks and the rusty brown panel between them.
I hope the bird stays a few days and someone can get some better photos than we did.
If anyone goes up there, when you get to the field with the manure heap on - try looking for the small Skylark flock first as that is the most likely chance to find the Lap Bunt.
Walk on the top very very slowly and try to find them before they see you otherwise they will be off into the field of long grass and the bunt might go with them! Also beware there were some Reed Buntings with the Skylarks as well this afternoon. Good luck.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

Looks like we have a new recipient of the Golden B*ll*cks (oh joy says Dave)!
Great stuff,I will give them a good polish and pass them on some time after x-mas.
