Patchworker strikes again!
Well done to Dave Sutcliffe who this afternoon located a Lapland Bunting with Skylarks on his patch at Swalesmoor
The bird was still there at 3.45pm. Also seen by PJWS and NK. Views down to 8 meters gave fantastic views once it was away from the Skylarks as when it was with them they took off within 50 meters. Also heard calling in flight. Probably a winter male as it had prominent dark spots acrosss the chest. Just trying to see if any photos have come out as the weather was very misty up there and not good for photo's. Elated!
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,
