At least 3 Gt Spotted Woodpeckers drumming (and possibly LSW but not confirmed)
c20 Siskin over and 1 m Sparrowhawk

"Several" Whoopers flew over my house calling at 02:25 15th March. It was a clear night but did not see them, they were very low. Illingworth seems to be a regular flight path. Maybe they fly over the saddle between Catherine Slack and Pule Hill?
That's what I thought Bruce, I think they head up the Shibden Valley then over the dip in the hill. Was it this time last yesr when you had 62 or so over the house. You were wide awake at 02.25?
It was TWO years ago Dave (25/3/07), time flies! They woke me up they were so loud and low. No idea of numbers though.
