Treecreepers
Anybody else seen an increase in Treecreepers this winter ? I've seen them at four different locations in January so far, but only had about a dozen sightings in 2008. Another good sighting today, along with two Nuthatches, 40 Redwings and GS Woodpecker at Coach Road, Brighouse.
Not related to Calderdale but just come back from Center Parcs near Penrith and the Forest was absolutely teeming with them. Perhaps it is a national thing.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

I seem to be seeing more than ever locally also.

I have seen two in Wade Wood at Jerusalem Farm. One at each end of the wood.
