Happy New Year

Having been under the weather the last 2 days I only ventured out today to fill up the bird feeders then watched from an upstairs window for about an hour. Unfortunately that hour was between 12:30 and 13:30 which as we all know is verging on bird siesta time still some visitors were grateful for the new food.
Dunnock 3 (1 of which was my first bird of 2009 - apt because they are a favourite of mine).
Robin
Blackbird 2 males 1 female
Collard Dove 2
Blue tit 2
Magpie 1
Greenfinch 3 (several more flying over).
Pheasant 3 (2 male, 1 hybrid)
Jackdaw 1
and in near by tree a single male Great Spotted Woodpecker.

Hoping to venture further a field in the coming days.
