Lower Gorple

6 stonechat (4 of which were juv's)
1 whinchat
95 canada geese
17 meadow pipits
Possible tree pipit about 200 yds up the path from the 'road gate' towards res', though I'd want a better look to be 100%
1 kestrel
2 stock dove
3 mallard
2 swallows through

did the pipit call thats the easiest way.meadow pipits are very variable at this time of year.its also one of them 'when you see it you know' birds

There was no call - just the briefest view. It had the features of tree pipit, but as you rightly say, meadow pipits can be pretty variable at the moment, so it has to go down as an unknown unless i can get up for another look. I always like to be 100% sure.
