little owl (s)
heard a little owl at soil hill tonight (not directly at soil hill at the bottom but very close bradshaw to be exact) 2 were around which is odd because there is only 1 normaly. have only seen it once but will report if i do see it
yes soil hill is my local patch i live opposite the road to a small stream and im in walking distance of soil hill (less than a kilometer). unfortunetly i cant go to ringstone or green withens because its too far but might be able to go saturday if the weathers good. its the only oppertunety ive got so far.
Soil Hill has produced some good birds over the years but seems to need regular coverage, this usually pays dividends though, just look at what Nick D has had by covering Roils Head regularly.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

The stone field walls are always a good bet to watch out for Little Owls - usually on the side away from the wind. Good hunting Dishfish!
I've got to ask, why Dishfish?
my freinds got this game and on it my name is dishfish so it just came to me (and I like fish) my real name is Daniel by the way
Welcome to the Blog Daniel, hope to see you out birding sometime, do you have a "local patch?"
