All males? Could be a Calderdale record?
5 on Blackmoorfoot Reservoir this evening apparently (all males) so clearly a significant movement of Common Scoter occurred overnight.
there were a few females in there but the light was bad,2/3rds males i reckon, largest flock ever was 200apx over whiteholme on the 31st july 1957!!!!,so the largest flock in 50 years, come on the 'with'!!!!!
