Soil Hill etc

First thing in a very cold blast up there W F6 - thinking Snow Bunting (what else)!! a light covering of snow and keen frost with distant views of some Dales peaks.
Just 1 Skylark and a solitary Red Grouse and that was it.

Lower down at Stodfold, below Ogden golf course, a pair of Dippers were in the stream.
1 Reed Bunting, 10 Fieldfare and c55 Starlings in the nearby fields and a Little Owl near the golf course.
