What were your first birds of the year?
Mytholmroyd
First seen was a jackdaw.
Many visits from a nuthatch to a bird feeder.
Also bullfinch, greenfinch, goldfinch, chaffinch,blue tit, great tit & longtailed tit, great sp woodpecker, dunnock & robin.
Cormorant flying up the valley at 9.30AM.
Raven over.

The Cormorant came >N over Fly Flatts just after 0930 hrs.
A pair of Stonechat at Fly Flatts started the year well for me.
A Robin in the garden - not got started Niall !!
