Shibden Valley

A different juvenile jay was eating the rasberries today. I wasn't quick enough to take a photo. The one I photo'd and put on the blog on 19 July had a lot of black on the front of the crown, but this one had no black on the crown: the whole centre of the crown was mid-brown, and the sides of the crown were whitish.

Whiteholme today: 1 ringed plover and 4 wheatears.
