Ringstone Edge

'Continental' cormorant, P carbo sinensis. The rear edge of the bare skin drops vertically from the gape. So the angle of the edge of the bare skin at the gape is obtuse - ie more than 90 degrees.

Common sandpiper.

Interesting Pete. Has the Common Sand got a fish as can only see it in the phone.

I've seen it enlarged, and I'd say it's a small frog being held by its right front leg.
