Halifax - Winding Road

We relocated 12 (maybe 13) Waxwings this morning around 9:45. Some were in the very tall trees above Sainsbury's staff car park.

For feeding they seem to favour the tree opposite the RSPCA but a Mistle Thrush was guarding it and 2 Sparrowhawks about as well so the Waxwings were 'flighty'.
Hope others get lucky today as it was 6th time for us !

I've a few goes left before I get to 6 Dave so there is still hope for me yet!
With the large snow fall in eastern/southern Europe who knows what might drop in.
Some Whoopers would be nice.

This is probably the same group I got at Pellon Lane in December as there seems to be very few around. I think Sainsburys area is about the last area with berries now and they are going fast. Definitely not going to be an influx year.
