Is that a Little Grebe top picture lower front ?
I thought it was a Teal
Well spotted both!
I hadn't noticed that but it is certainly smaller and looks different from the others.
There were two Little Grebes on Ringtone the previous day. JM.
Looking at the e mailed blown up version the smaller looking duck is a juv Wigeon but further away from the camera plus the angle it is at makes it look much smaller. Bit of an optical illusion.
