Can these eggs be Identified?Curlew, Lapwing ?Picture taken on Pen- y - Ghent. Thanks Diane
Curlew or Lapwing is as close as I can get Bruce. Hard to tell from photo but BWP suggests Curlew slightly glossy and Lapwing not glossy. Not Golden Plover which are usually marked bigger blotches and don't think Redshank. Nearby birds - any alarming???
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

I guess Curlew from its position in a Sphagnum moss bog. Size of eggs is useful in identification.
