Hooded Crow
Hooded Crow at Cottonstones 6th April. First record since 1975. The bird may still be present so its worth a look. Looks like its in the same area as the Woodchat Shrike was a few years ago.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

My one and only Hooded Crow in Calderdale was one at Ogden on 13th November 1971 and I am on the look-out for another one!
Where was the 1975 one Nick?
Was there also one at Clifton in recent years or was that a hybrid? I think Sean Grey got some photo's of that one.
By the way - well done to the finder of this most recent bird.
1975 one at Fly Flats found by your old mate Dave Crawshaw on 24th April. One at Jay House Lane a few years back was thought to be a hybrid.
just goes to show there are good birds out there..great find and great to get photos
There's a bit of video too, the finder sent it to me yesterday want me to try and upload it?
I had one just out of the area at Sugden Tip, Flappit, Denholme on 4/2/1995
